Written and directed by Jon Bell, “The Moogai” centers on a young Aboriginal couple named Sarah and Fergus. Their family life is upended after Sarah believes a malevolent spirit is trying to take her second baby. Check out the trailer and let us know your thoughts!
Fergus, in an attempt to be supportive, tries his best to believe Sarah. As she becomes more emotionally unbalanced, the question is whether she might be the actual destructive force that could threaten the family’s safety.
The ensemble includes Tessa Rose, Clarence Ryan, Toby Leonard Moore and Bella Heathcote.
