The documentary Colette centers on 91-year-old Colette Marin-Catherine, a member of the French resistance who refused to set foot in Germany after WWII. With the help of a history student named Lucie, Colette decides to visit the Nazi concentration camp in Germany where her brother died. Bruce’s interview with director Anthony Giacchino and producer Alice Doyard begins at 32:58:
White Eye centers on Omer (Daniel Gad), a guy is trying to retrieve his stolen bike. Frustrated with the authorities and his overall situation, Omer gradually realizes that his actions may lead to dire circumstances. White Eye will also be available for streaming on HBOMax starting Tuesday, April 20.
Bruce’s interview with filmmaker Tomer Shushan (the short is inspired by an incident in Tomer’s life) begins at 67:03:
