American Flyers centers on two brothers (Kevin Costner, David Marshall Grant) who are attempt to win a world class cycling competition. Their father’s passing has led to a rift between the siblings, but hopefully their relationship can mend during the grueling race through the Rocky Mountains. Penned by Breaking Away writer Steve Tesich, American Flyers co-stars Rae Dawn Chong, Alexandra Paul, and was directed by John Badham (Stakeout, Blue Thunder).

Fandango, written and directed by Kevin Reynolds, centers on five men who take one last wild trip across West Texas before they graduate college. The coming-of-age tale, set in the summer of 1971, stars Kevin Costner, Judd Nelson, and Sam Robards. Reynolds and Costner would also work together on Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Waterworld, and the miniseries Hatfield & McCoys.
