“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” based on Barbara Robinson’s popular 1972 novel, centers on six children who aim to ruin the town’s annual celebration. This is the 75th anniversary of the Christmas Pageant, and Grace (Judy Greer) is in charge of the event. Greer talks about what she hopes people take away from this holiday film.

“My favorite thing is making people laugh and have fun, especially going into the holidays,” said Greer. “The holidays can be really triggering for people. So in my fantasy, some family would see this movie in the theater together and they would laugh and they would have so much fun. And then all of the emotion would stick around and creep in . . . I always hope with a movie like this that mostly it will make people have fun.”

Directed by Dallas Jenkins (“The Chosen”), “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” co-stars Lauren Graham, Pete Holmes and Molly Belle Wright. Check it out in theaters November 8 and let us know your thoughts on the movie!
