In the Heights, directed by Crazy Rich Asians filmmaker Jon M. Chu and based on Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit musical, hits 4K, Blu-ray and DVD starting August 31. The feature has amassed $39 million in box office receipts worldwide.
If August is too long for one to wait, In the Heights will be available for Premium Digital Ownership for $24.99 and for a 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99.
The musical centers on Usnavi (Anthony Ramos), a bodega owner in Washington Heights who dreams of a better life. The ensemble includes Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Olga Merediz, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gregory Diaz, Stephanie Beatriz, Dasha Polanco and Jimmy Smits.
