‘House Party’ Hits Blu-ray And DVD In February

House Party, the remake of the ’90s classic, hits Blu-ray and DVD February 14 via Warner Bros. Entertainment. Cinephiles can purchase the film on Digital starting January 31.

House Party centers on best friends Damon (Tosin Cole) and Kevin (Jacob Latimore) who are fired from their job as house cleaners. Out of money and seemingly down on their luck, the pair are also aspriing club promoters, and a no holds barred party may be their ticket to success. Directed by Calmatic, the picture features LeBron James and Maverick Carter as two of the producers.

Rounding out the ensemble are Karen Obilom, D.C. Young Fly, and Scott Mescudi. Oak Felder, whose credits include The United States vs. Billie Holiday and The Equalizer 2, is the feature’s composer.

As a bigtime basketball fan, I’m looking forward to seeing the cameos of Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the flick, and of course seeing Kid ‘n Play show up (Christopher Reid, Christopher Martin) will be a treat as well.
