The bottom line is only one person wins The Voiceand congratulations are in order for twin sisters Andi & Alex for lasting through the Knockouts. I interviewed the pair the morning after their elimination, and though their journey on the show is over, this is just another chapter in their music path.

Their melodic and evocative rendition of Dido’s“Thank You” earned the pair a four chair turn, and they chose Adam Levine as their coach. Their Battle Rounds collaboration with Chance Peña for The Calling’s “Wherever You Will Go” featured, as Gwen Stefani accurately noted, “insane” harmonies. The trio’s studio version of “Wherever You Will Go” is just as memorable.

Personally, I really loved they pushed their emotions to another level and weren’t afraid to go for it with Keith Urban’s “Stupid Boy” during the Knockouts, and thankfully the siblings will continue to pursue their promising music career (for updates on Andi & Alex, go to their official Facebook page).

“It was just amazing,” said Alex. “Even just being on The Voice, even if it would have only been one episode – it would have been such an achievement. So we’re just really proud.”

During the interview, Andi & Alex talked about their time on The Voice and learning from coach Adam Levine.  The Green Bay, Wisconsin natives also briefly chatted about their city’s highly popular NFL team (hint: their uniforms bleed green and gold) as well as their continuing music plans.
