Achieving success in film, television, and radio, Steve Harvey  is as successful as they come. Even with all those achievements that were borne out of hard work, Harvey has his share of detractors and haters. During the recent NBC/Universal press tour, I asked Harvey about his naysayers. Check out the video below!!

Below is an edited transcript of Harvey’s answer regarding my haters and trolls question (the video version follows the quotes):

“Look, the Internet is just a coward with a keyboard. Bloggers don’t make decisions. They’re not power brokers and they’re not shakers and movers. I stay on the wall. I just stay on the wall. I don’t go down there with them.

They dog me for going to see the president, they dog me for a memo I sent, they’re always eating away at me, but who are they?

People of power don’t have a problem with me. But if you got a keyboard, you wanna say I’m a loser, I’m a coon, I’m an Uncle Tom for going to see the president? If the former president and the new president’s transition team ask you to come, don’t you go? . . . Flies always need fresh doo-doo” –  Steve Harvey

Steve, which Harvey aims to bring a late-night aesthetic into daytime programming, premieres September 5 on NBC.
