The Diary of a Teenage Girl, a drama which featured a star making turn from actress Bel Powley, hits Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD on January 19.
The 1976 narrative, based on Phoebe Gloeckner’s novel, centers on Minnie Goetz (Powley), a San Francisco based teenager who enters a love affair with her mom’s (Kristen Wiig) slacker boyfriend (Alexander Skarsgård). Through this heartbreaking union, Minnie finds her voice as an artist and a young woman. Nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, The Diary of a Teenage Girl marks the feature directing debut of Marielle Heller.
