“The Mandela Effect Phenomenon” director Robert Kiviat is a lifelong fan of “The Twilight Zone” creator Rod Serling, so it’s no surprise he delves into alternate realities in his new documentary. His latest project focuses on The Mandela Effect, and he delved into what this theory is all about. Now available on Digital, “The Mandela Effect Phenomenon” features interviews with journalist Mark LaFlamme and Mandela Effect researcher Jacob Israel.

“I believe the Mandela Effect probably is the closest to a “Twilight Zone” kind of reality where something has happened, where it looks like we have a two timelines, two different realities, more or less merged together,” said Robert Kiviat, whose previous projects include ‘Aliens on the Moon’ and ‘I Shot JFK: The Shocking Truth.’ “And the evidence of the merging is this residual evidence or residual things that have been left, apparently in this universe where we are right now, but they don’t match up to the memory of millions, if not billions, of people. And then when you try to figure out if it’s just misremembering or is it just kind of a psychological issue? You can find evidence that clearly at one time something used to be this way, but it’s no longer this way, it’s this other way.”

Is confusing “The Berenstain Bears” with The Berenstein Bears simply misremembering details? Do you say “Sex and the City” or Sex in the City? “The Mandela Effect Phenomenon” delves into the “life is a simulation” theory and explores the validity of alternate realities.

Whether you find “The Mandela Effect Phenomenon” ridiculous and/or engaging, that decision is obviously up to you. Let us know if you see this documentary and feel free to share your thoughts in the comments! Check out “The Mandela Effect Phenomenon,” directed by Robert Kiviat, on Digital.
