Chef and restauranter Masaharu Morimoto’s artistry and insight will be on display with Morimoto’s Sushi Master. The six-episode cooking competition spotlights the intricacies of making sushi, arguably the world’s most popular cuisine. The Roku Channel debuts Morimoto’s Sushi Master on June 16.
Lyrica Okano from Marvel’s Runaways and the underrated romantic/time travel drama Press Play will host the series. As the trailer suggests with a pun-laced comment, there will be “raw talent” featured in Morimoto’s Sushi Master.
Judges in the competition, along with Chef Masaharu Morimoto, include Chef Dakota Weiss and Chef Kenji López-Alt.
You can stream The Roku Channel for free on Roku devices, iOS and Android devices, online, Samsung TVs and Amazon Fire TV. No subscription is needed.
