In support of the album, King Buzzo (aka Buzz Osborne) embarks on an eight week North American tour starting off with a May 13 date in Palm Springs, Ca. (The Alibi). Other cities covered on the trek include Dallas, TX (5/23, Three Links), New Orleans, LA (5/27,Santos), New York, NY (6/5, The Bowery Ballroom), Pittsburgh, PA (6/12, Thunderbird Music Hall), Chicago, IL (6/20, Empty Bottle), and Seattle WA (7/1, Columbia City Theater). The tour ends its run with a July 6 stop in Los Angeles, CA (The Echo).
“Gift of Sacrifice was a stone groove to record and it will be a f**king blast to finally hit the road with my buddy Trevor Dunn,” said Osborne, who was a member of Fantômas with Dunn. “Once we take the stage, I guarantee we’ll kick the crap out of this album.”
Osborne’s solo debut, This Machine Kills Artists, came out in 2014. Tickets for the tour go on-sale Friday, February at 10 a.m. (local time).
