Jason Isaacs stars in the new series Dig as Peter Connelly, an FBI agent whose investigation of an American’s murder inadvertently leads him to the uncovering of a global conspiracy. The show features the high wattage creative team of Gideon Raff (Homeland) and Tim Kring (Heroes), and the versatile actor was eager to jump on board.

“It’s a dramatic and fantastical adventure ride,” says Isaacs of the project, which co-stars Anne Heche and Lauren Ambrose. “But all the elements that they’ve dramatized were ripped from the headlines . . and I was stunned to find out how much of real life they were using in making this extraordinary story.”
