The New York versus Los Angeles debate will continue until world’s end. Ray Liotta currently lives in the City of Angels, but he shot Shades of Blue in New York (transcript and video are featured below). This video was shot in early May during the NBC Universal Press day:

“At first it takes a while to get into but once you’re into the swing of things, once you’re doing it every day for like months on end, it gets in you. It gives you a purpose. Something to do. I love living out here in L.A. – I’m from New Jersey but I love going to New York and shooting this show. It was great. Even just driving to work every day was always an adventure. Because there’s so much construction. There’s so much under the ground, fixing the pipes . . . I just came back because I just was on the jury of Tribeca Film Festival so I just came back from the festival a couple of days ago. And every time I come back, I say ‘Sheez, you know maybe I do want to move back here for a little bit. I think I want my cake and eat it too. Back to New York.” – Ray Liotta
