The Pokémon franchise is all about evolution, and the Pokémon Company and Bandai Namco Games have announced their collaboration for the upcoming game Pokkén Tournament. No word if or when the title, which debuts in Japan arcades, will be released stateside.
As the name suggests, Pokkén Tournament is not a classic RPG style experience, as players will get to duke it out amidst an arcade fighting style aesthetic. A sneak peak video pitting Lucario (the canine looking battler) against Machamp. Check out the video below, and more info regarding Pokkén Tournament (or at least more footage) should be announced in the coming weeks.
