In anticipation of the August 25 release of Madden NFL 16, EA Sports has released Madden: The Movie The several minute action trailer has actors Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse amassing a ragtag group of fighters to fight a fellow Madden playing nemesis.

Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Julio Jones, and Coach Rex Ryan all get their chance to shine in the video, but my my favorite cameo came from Colin Kaepernick who played Al Pacino from Scent of a Woman. Amidst all the blatant overacting and memorable one-liners, Madden: The Movie does have a heartbreaking moment (if you’re a Buffalo Bills fan), as Rex Ryan gets taken out by a perfect spiral.

The video below, which also features some scene stealing (and villain eating) work from a dinosaur, is below:

Developed by EA Tiburon in Orlando, Florida, Madden NFL 16 will be available for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. EA Access members will be able to play Madden NFL 16 starting August 20 exclusively on Xbox One.
