Whether truth is stranger than fiction doesn’t apply here, as this New York City program main focus is the humor that arises from these all too candid best friends. During our interview with Klausner, she talked about the joy of writing and co-starring in Difficult People.

While promoting Difficult PeopleKlausner talked about pushing herself as a writer and an actress:

“Especially with comedy, it’s always interesting to notice what’s new and what feels different. And what makes you nervous tends to be a new frontier. And you always have time to rewrite it if it’s really making you uncomfortable. But it’s exciting, and the nice thing about writing my own role is I can play a version of myself that isn’t completely myself.”
